Ok, I love beetles, especially scarab beetles. There I said it. Perhaps this is why one is featured in my first story.

But lately they’ve been landing on my deck. Not all the time but once in a while, I look over and this antannae’d creature is crawling/sometimes flying around.

Last week, we had a green one stay on our windshield for the whole drive home. And all I could think was Mabel Mabel Mabel. Crazy eh?
