The Gangster’s Cache, book four of the Mabel Hartley series has been underway for a few months now and I’m so excited because I have just one or two chapters to go before the end.
This is my favorite part of the writing process, finding out what Mabel and her friends are up to as they search for treasure in every book in the series. This book takes the friends to New York to find the lost treasure of Dutch Schultz, a gangster from the 1930s who buried his money somewhere around Phoenicia New York, before he was gunned down.
I’m always a little sad when a story comes to a close but this one has been one of the easiest to write and I’ve loved every minute of it.
