As a child of the 1980s, well I was in elementary school in 1983, this Netflix Original series looks like it came straight from there. But it’s so much more than just a throw back show. If you ever read Stephen King, Dean Koontz, were spellbound by the movie Heathers or anything with Winona Ryder, this is the show for you.

It’s a comeback for everything 1980s and 1990s and is written and directed by the Duffer Brothers, who I think will be big names soon enough. There is enough of Carrie, and telepathy to have me hooked after the pilot. It’s sci-fi at it’s best with great acting and great story telling. Nice find.
