First of all I have to say that I love having a part-time job outside my house. I also love working on my YA fiction series and my goal is by September to have all three of my books in both ebook and paperback format. But keeping things is perspective is a challenge for me that having a part-time job at the local newspaper really helps me with.

I usually write three to four articles a week. I went into this week not knowing how I would swing my job and my fiction writing with the kids being home, and the reality is that they’re growing up and I think they kind of like their mum being away for a little while during the day.

I have the best balance of right now.

Summer, once dreaded with two young ones, has now become a time of great fun. I even painted my toe-nails red to celebrate!
