It is such a rush to see the first idea for the cover of a story come together in collaboration with my favorite artist Donna Murillo.

We started this morning and I feel euphoric. It’s one thing to spend years researching a story, months writing it, and several more months to create a draft worthy of publication.

The art for the cover is the most fun a writer can have as it embodies all the work, all the hope and all the beauty you see in your story and want to communicate with readers. This one is so powerful and this is only day one!
