Rounding the final turn on the second draft of my third story

With feedback on my third story coming in from different readers this last month I feel like I’ve been in the swamp with Mabel Hartley. Reading through the text and polishing it is a dirty business because it means doing a rewrite on almost half the story, which also means making sure the new writing matches up with the old writing and it can be a bit of a quagmire (quaking bog, marsh or slough) to arrive at draft #2.

I also feel so close and as I wrap up the second draft in the next 10 days, I look forward to starting the cover for this amazing story and then on to formatting for my Amazon bookshelf. I can’t wait to see January and begin Mabel Hartley story #4. We are going to New York city with the gang possibly minus one of our number. Can you guess who it is?
