This is what I know about running in my life:
- I love to overdo things, that being said I did 5km run after not running for several months and finished in about 40 minutes
- my legs are sore today but in the best way
- I need to goal to train for and mine is the Terry Fox 10 km run in September (last year I over trained too quickly and finished in a lot of pain)
- note to self: while training I only need to complete the distance once, not several times
- I am 43 years old, and my body is not quite as young as it once was, I am ok with just being able to get out there
