I am truly blessed with my neighbor Donna. Her friendship has been such a joy for me and when we get together to chat, something wondrous seems right around the corner.

This week, her daughter came with a wool dyeing kit and we got our skeins together and dyed them indigo.

It was so much fun to see my pale yellow wool (that I’d bought on sale) sit in a bucket and emerge this starlit night blue.

This winter, fibre has become my friend and with Donna leading the way I’m having a lot of fun experimenting with yarn, knitting, felting and more. Stay tuned for more news of our adventures.
