Being a writer is such a fascinating job and one I truly love, especially on days like today when I decide to reread the first two stories in the series to get back into the thick of it.

I love the voices of the characters and thinking about how they’re going to react to being in a desert climate with nomads and ruins of ancient times along with Crusader knights. Oh, things are about to get very exciting!

And….two Middle Eastern recipes books home from the library and thinking of all the Syrian refugees who are being displaced by war. What a world we live in.
