Fresh from the oven….Zaatar!

I may just have to make some hummus and falafel to go with them. A very distinctive flavor. I’ve already had three, (just to make sure they’re ok, of course).

Picked up some Zaatar Lebanese spice mix to go on our homemade pita

Can’t wait to try putting some Zaatar spice on our pitas tomorrow for some authentic Lebanese cuisine. I think I might need to try some Mujaddara (lentils with sautéed onions) to go with it as well.

And to go with the Pita, Hummus!

My hubby has been indulging our need for hummus for years, but today was my first try at it. I think everyone makes hummus to their liking and turns out that mine has a dash of cumin, paprika and lots of lemon juice to get that “just right” taste.
