Some thoughts on coming home:

• We wear poppies to remember those who fought for our freedom
• We get to live beside so much ocean
• We love our neighbors
• We travel on ferries
• We celebrate with friends and family
• We get to see our daughter go all out in her Halloween costume as Frankinstein
• We are free from war
• We don’t carry guns
• We think about how the world sees us
• We are so happy to be home
